After the release of his 2019 debut “Jomo”, Polo toured his native Middle East for a few months before linking up with Ibn Itaka in London circa March 2020. The fruit of their collaboration, titled Echo Chambers released in August 2021, reflects on a world of contradictions manifested in an era of online disinformation and physical isolation.

Joining Abu Recordings on their first episode of 2021 is Egyptian American artist Felukah. Over the past year, Felukah has emerged as one of the leading figures in the Middle Eastern hip hop scene. In the show they premier her next single, “PSA (feat. Nic Hanson)” which will be coming out this Friday via Abu Recordings.
